PAREB & DASMAREB - Strengthening Real Estate Industry in the City of Dasmariñas

July 27, 2017 Thursday. Despite of a bad weather, Philippine Real Estate Board (PAREB) officers and its board of directors, headed by Mr. William Floresta, PAREB National President, visit their local board Dasmariñas City Real Estate Board (DASMAREB) members, headed by Mr. Rodolfo Sublemente, DASMAREB President, as we unify our threads with our national board they gave us inspirational thoughts with our profession and on how we could grow and strengthen it. As they gave us new insights and updates with the current trend in terms of real estate here in the Philippines. We are very honored that regardless of the distance that they travel, they still manage it to share their knowlege. We are very grateful to have them as our officers and board of directors in this profession.

PAREB is the first and largest real estate service organization in the Philippines with sixty four (64) Member Boards nationwide, each having their territorial jurisdiction over a province or city, with a combined membership of over four thousand eight hundred (4,800) individual members, throughout the country. Its membership is composed of licensed real estate brokers, licensed appraisers, licensed real estate consultants, real property developers and licensed professional practitioners of other disciplines duly registered with the Professional Regulation Commission. For the coming year, PAREB envisions to organize five (5) more members boards nationwide and enlist about five thousand five hundred (5,500) more real estate brokers and members into its fold.

May 15, 1960 – Philippine Association of REALTORS Boards, Inc. (PAREB) was legally registered/incorporated under the corporate laws of the Philippines after the Articles of Incorporation was signed last April 29, 1960 as witnessed by the Bureau of Commerce Secretary Manuel Lim and Director Rizalino Pablo.
September 7, 1960 – A Certificate of Recognition was issued by the Bureau of Commerce (Sec. 28 of Commerce, Administrative Order No. 60-1) making PAREB the official consultative body of the Bureau on the national level concerning the real estate industry.

November 2, 1960 – National Association of REALTORS – United States of America authorized PAREB to use the term REALTOR and licensed its members to use the REALTOR “R” trademark in a Memorandum of Agreement signed at the Ceremonial Hall of Malacañang in the presence of then President of the Republic of the Philippines – Carlos P. Romulo and then US Ambassador John Heckerson.

On May 15, 2016, PAREB celebrated its 56th year of existence and also we shall be holding our 56th National Convention and Elections in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte on October 6, 7, 8, 2016. PAREB remains committed to helping its members achieve professional growth. A variety of educational sessions on industry updates, technology tools and strategies that will give them the competitive advantage are always a part and parcel of any PAREB Conference or Convention.
